ITHE DAY THE
SKY PEELED.
Not a mascot. Not a costume.
A capybara caught between seconds.
01THE FALL
A blue-sky morning. A banana house. One spark nobody remembers making. Cappy ran back for the family fruit bowl—and the roof peeled open above him.
THE CROWN
A warm peel landed on his head and refused to come off. It whispered directions in a language made of smells, static and tiny yellow flashes.
THE DRIP
The peel lets Cappy taste moments before they happen. The future is delicious. His brain cannot hold it all, so one bright drop of tomorrow leaks from his mouth.
THE WIDE EYES
He stopped blinking in case the world changed between frames. Every drawing looks unfinished because reality cannot finish drawing Cappy before he moves on.
